Lapis, lapidis. Stone, earth, nature, woman. Beauty and energy suggest the strength of those who fight against the will to suppress our minds. Those stones thrown for fear of beauty are the same that transmit our desire to fight. The stones shine, ghosts fly, light and soul live on freedom.
Lapides is a work about women: a dress to evoke beauty and femininity, but without a body, as a right denied, while stones and nature make alive our longing for freedom. Lapides is the answer: stones that do not want to be thrown to kill the beauty which sometime scares. Lapides talks about our abused motherland, it is the answer to all human rights, social, civil and environmental issues to which mankind must not be subtracted.
