Melting Pat Phase 1: city and colours - Sicily
What is the color of tears? And that of shivers? And what color is a smile? Is it really black fear and red passion? Does it exist a way to connect feelings to a universally recognized chromatic scale? In such an absolute absence of reference points, except for some commonplaces, I decided to start in an easy way: identify the colors of localities. In a way it is easy but the point is: in which horizon do we concentrate our attention? On which frame? How do we find the sense that that color is THE color of that place? In this work the color of the soil blend and play with the architectures. It is the color of history being reflected and deformed through the machines that surround the buildings and returns surreal images.
